GeoWoodstock 4

Hello Geo-friends!

     The time is drawing near for Geowoodstock 4 (GCRRC6). This is truly going to be a great event. I hope everyone who is attending has already registered at: http://www.txga.net/gw4/registration.asp

    

 

I am currently scheduling the CACHE RUNS. With so much to do in the Metroplex area I am trying to finalize an event schedule so that everyone can plan their long weekend accordingly.

 

 I would like to hear from those of you that are planning runs or would LIKE to plan a cache run during GW4. At this time it looks like Sunday will be the main “RUN” day. Please let me know if you are currently planning a cache run on another day, as we  would like to get these on the events schedule.  

 

 I also need a few volunteers to help plan runs. I have heard so many great ideas (24 hour number runs, night caches, etc) and want this event to be great! I am really counting on the geo-community for help.  I would love for some of my fellow North Texans to help plan local runs to Downtown Dallas, the Fort Worth Stockyards & Arts district, etc.

My team will make our attempt for the record on the 20th-21st.

Then, on the 22nd through 26th I will have a van and anyone that wants to ride will try for 200 caches a day, 1000 for the week.

Anyone is welcome on these daily cache runs, for a few hours or a few days, whatever.

They can ride with us or follow us around in another car.

Please publish these runs in your schedule.

Regarding the geocaching in the van from the 22nd through the 26th......is a trip to Houston planned for a day(s) during that time period?
