Finance

Finances were posted on the TXGA Board Facebook group. February stated with $3,506.66 and ended with $6,597.77. There were $1,908.89 in expenses for Challenge 2020 and 2021. More money is coming in because of excess inventory sold to Space Coast Geocaching.

Challenge 2020

Path Tags that did not make it from China because of Covid-19 will be mailed out when they arrive.
All bills for Challenge 2020 except the postage of stuff to be mailed have been paid.
Registration for Challenge problems were discussed. Videoing the registration process was discussed. I was suggested to give out the team captain’s email addresses. Marcellus is to head up a subcommittee to look into solutions to help with registration.

Challenge 2021

There are people working on geo-art, coins, t-shirts. The Hide Team has been picked. Some have said they will help with scoring. One hotel has been secured and another is in the works.

Roundup 2020

Roundup will be October 17 at Lake Mineral Wells State Park. Side events and activities were discussed.
Brian was made an Admin for the Roundup Facebook Page.

Joint Texas Oklahoma Event

People from Oklahoma have contacted Brian about having a joint Oklahoma/Texas event that would alternate locations between states and will continue seek information.

Membership

Membership date options were discussed. A free Covid membership was discussed.

Bylaws

Possible changes to bylaws were discussed. The Board voted to remove term limits for Regional Representatives.

Recording Secretary

It was decided to look for a person to be a recording secretary. This is a non-voting position.

Website

Marcellus asked for photographs from previous Challenges to add to the website.
